Welcoming Fall

Image constructed from a photograph*
I took this morning in our garden

My Russian Mammoth sunflowers
Once so proud, standing tall
Now submissive
Bowing deeply
Welcoming Fall

This is a photograph made art.
It is beautiful, with the lingering beauty of summer greens and yellow set on a background suggestive not of fall (the nodding heads going to seed speak autumn)) but the ice white and blue of winter waiting like the pond, beautiful and impenetrable at its best--
another kind of circle, collect the seeds for spring, or feed the birds and squirrels...

Thank you Anoymous,
Yes, another kind of circle, encompassing us all in its embrace, a circle, perhaps, "twisted to the mobius of the reclined infinity symbol.
